Anatolian Kilim Pillows

Enjoy the rich earthtone textures of these naturally colored, hand embroidered throw pillows. Made of traditional tribal Kilims, hand-woven by nomadic Kurdish people throughout eastern Anatolia, their traditional designs are passed from one generation to another. Some motifs date back more than a thousand years. The dyes are obtained from animal, vegetable and mineral sources. The white background found on some of the pillows is pure silk.
